Course by Zhanerke Koylibayeva:
Learn to professionally craft screenplays and develop stories for film, television, and new media under the guidance of a Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting (MFA, New York Film Academy).
The goal of the course is to learn how to become a flexible, creative, and adaptable writer, ready to offer the industry a product in demand.
Story Generation
This course helps students become what the film industry values most — a source of ideas.
Through in-class activities and out-of-class projects, students learn to generate stories across different genres and formats: from films and television to comics and web series.
Ideas are developed in workshops to produce their best possible versions.
In the second half of the course, students will create several feature film treatments, which will then be used in the Feature Film Workshop
